🇪🇸 Bank Fees in Spain
Santander and CaixaBank have turned the humble current account into a 240 euro a year subscription, then made you work for the discount: domicile a salary, park your bills, swipe the card often enough and they graciously waive what they invented. BBVA leaves the classic-account hit lower, at 160 euros a year, but the playbook is the same while their own online brands give the product away for free.
