No. It charges no maintenance fee and imposes no conditions: no salary, no direct debits, no minimum balance. It also pays 1% TIN on balances up to €20,000.
At Sabadell's own ATMs always, and at ABANCA, Unicaja, Ibercaja and Kutxabank ATMs when you withdraw €60 or more. Smaller withdrawals there, and any withdrawal at other banks, carry the ATM owner's surcharge in full.
SEPA transfers in euros are free online, including instant ones. Order the same transfer at a branch and it costs 0.60% with a €6 minimum to another bank. Foreign currency transfers cost 0.75% with a €22 minimum plus a 3% currency exchange fee.
A 4.5% opening fee with a €15 minimum, debtor interest at 7.19% TIN, and a €28 claim fee if the bank formally demands the balance. Capped by law at an APR of 2.5 times the legal interest rate.
The first debit card is free of issuance and maintenance fees. From the second card onwards Sabadell charges €30 per year per debit card and €47 per year per additional credit card.
