Bunq sells itself as the bank of The Free, yet its free plan charges €2.99 when you touch your own cash at an ATM that supports Apple Pay or Google Pay. The cheapest real plan costs €47.88 a year, and even there every single withdrawal has a price.

The Free plan has no monthly fee, but ATM cash only works where Apple Pay or Google Pay cash withdrawals are supported, and each withdrawal costs €2.99. It also charges 1.5% on foreign currency card payments above €1,000 per year. The cheapest full plan, Core, costs €3.99 per month.

How much does Bunq charge for ATM withdrawals?
