Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully as they contain important information about your legal rights, remedies, and obligations. By accessing or using the Banknaked platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

If you don't agree with these Terms, please don't use Banknaked. We mean it—we'd rather lose you as a user than have someone using our platform who doesn't agree with our approach.

Banknaked is a financial transparency platform that helps you identify and understand banking fees. Here's what you need to know:

• We are not a bank - We don't hold your money or offer financial products
• We use open banking - We connect to your accounts using secure, regulated open banking APIs
• We're transparent - Unlike banks, we tell you exactly what we do and how we do it
• We're on your side - Our goal is to help you save money by exposing hidden fees

2. Your Account

2.1 Account Creation

To use Banknaked, you must create an account. When you do, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your account credentials secure
• Update your information if it changes
• Be at least 18 years old

2.2 Account Security

You're responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately.

2.3 Account Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

3. Using Banknaked

3.1 Bank Connections

When you connect your bank accounts through our platform:

• You authorize us to access your financial data through secure open banking APIs
• You acknowledge that we receive read-only access to your accounts
• You understand that your bank's policies may affect our ability to access your data
• You can revoke access at any time by disconnecting your accounts

3.2 Permitted Use

You agree to use Banknaked only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws. You may not:

• Use the platform for illegal activities
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with the proper working of the platform
• Copy or reverse engineer any part of our platform

3.3 Subscription Services

We offer free and premium subscription options. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the pricing and billing terms presented at the time of purchase. You can cancel your subscription at any time, and we won't hide the cancellation button or make you call us.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality on Banknaked, including text, graphics, logos, and code, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license terminates if you violate these Terms.

5. Disclaimers

We work hard to provide accurate information, but:

• Banknaked is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We don't guarantee that our fee detection will identify every fee in your accounts
• We don't provide financial advice—just transparency about fees
• We depend on data from your bank, which may sometimes be incomplete or delayed

6. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits or data
• Any damages exceeding the amount paid by you to Banknaked in the past 12 months
• Any actions you take based on information provided by our platform

7. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between us:

1. We'll try to resolve it informally first
2. If that doesn't work, disputes will be resolved through arbitration, not in court
3. Any arbitration will be conducted in Berlin, Germany
4. These Terms are governed by German law

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes by email or through the platform. Your continued use of Banknaked after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
