Terms of Service

Welcome to Banknaked. Banknaked is operated by Old Farm Technologies Ltd. These Terms of Service ("Terms") set out the deal between us and you. They cover your rights, our obligations, and the limits of both. Read them. By using Banknaked, you agree to be bound by them.

If you don't agree with these Terms, please don't use Banknaked. We'd rather lose you as a user than have someone on the platform who doesn't accept how we work.

1. The Basics

Banknaked exists to show you what your bank is actually costing you. Before we get into the legal text, here's what we are and aren't:

• We are not a bank. We don't hold your money, lend it out, or sell you financial products.
• We use Open Banking. We connect to your accounts through regulated, read-only APIs. Nothing else.
• We're transparent. Unlike the banks we audit, we tell you exactly what we do, how we do it, and what it costs.
• We're on your side. Our entire reason for existing is to expose fees the banks would rather you didn't see.

2. Your Account

2.1 Account Creation

To use Banknaked, you must create an account. When you do, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your account credentials secure
• Update your information if it changes
• Be at least 18 years old

2.2 Account Security

You're responsible for whatever happens under your account. If you think someone else got in, tell us immediately and we'll help you lock it down.

2.3 Account Termination

You can close your account at any time. No phone calls to retention teams, no hidden cancel buttons. If you break these Terms or use the platform fraudulently, we may suspend or terminate your account.

3. Using Banknaked

3.1 Bank Connections

When you connect a bank account through our platform:

• You authorize us to access your financial data through secure Open Banking APIs
• You acknowledge that we receive read-only access to your accounts
• You understand that your bank's policies may affect our ability to access your data
• You can revoke access at any time by disconnecting your accounts

3.2 Permitted Use

You agree to use Banknaked only for its intended purpose and in line with applicable law. You may not:

• Use the platform for illegal activities
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with the proper working of the platform
• Copy or reverse engineer any part of our platform

3.3 Subscription Services

We offer a free discovery flow and a paid Monitor subscription. By subscribing, you agree to the pricing and billing terms shown at checkout. You can cancel at any time. We won't hide the cancel button, route you to a call center, or make you "speak to an advisor."

4. Intellectual Property

Banknaked's content, features, code, and brand are ours (or our licensors') and are protected by intellectual property laws. The fees we expose belong to nobody but you.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license ends if you violate these Terms.

5. Disclaimers

We do our best to surface accurate information, but here's what we cannot promise:

• Banknaked is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We can't guarantee we'll catch every single fee in your accounts. Some banks bury fees in places we haven't dug into yet.
• We don't provide financial advice. We provide transparency. What you do with that information is up to you.
• We depend on data from your bank. When their systems are slow, broken, or incomplete, ours will reflect that.

6. Limitation of Liability

Every bank's terms of service have a paragraph like this. So do ours, but in plain English. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits or data
• Any damages exceeding the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months
• Any actions you take based on information our platform provides

7. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between us:

1. We'll try to resolve it informally first. Email us. We answer.
2. If that doesn't work, disputes will be settled by the competent courts of Sofia, Bulgaria.
3. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves or laws change. We'll notify you of significant changes by email or in the app. If you keep using Banknaked after that, you're accepting the new Terms. We won't slip something nasty into a routine update and hope you don't notice.
